For those of you affected by the impending East Coast blizzard – and as a reminder to others — here are a few easy tips to help protect your digital technology assets.

Before leaving work:

  • Confirm that you have a current backup of all your data. If media is removable, consider taking it offsite.
  • Power down each server, PC, printer and peripheral.
  • Power down the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
  • Due to the expected high winds, take note of the location of your assets. If you have servers, PCs or printers located near a window or on a floor below a window, move them to a new location.

For immediate help, please use our main support number at 888-854-2554, rather than trying to reach them directly. This will automatically put you into the service queue, which will remain operational even during a power outage and will expedite our response. (This is also something we can set up for you.)

For non-emergency issues, please reach us by email or open a ticket in our customer portal.
