- Keep work data on work computers.
- Minimize security vulnerabilities with email encryption and security protection.
- Utilize team communication and video conferencing applications.
A 2020 study from the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research found that 42% of the U.S. workforce now works from home full time, accounting for more than two-thirds of economic activity. A challenge: online connectivity. Only two-thirds of those surveyed reported having the 90% or greater internet connectivity needed for video calls. With the remaining third reporting that they have such poor internet service that they are unable to effectively work from home.
