Marvio has been working in the IT Industry for 21 years and has been with Datasmith Network Solutions for 11 years. Marvio’s role with Datasmith is Director of Engineering. He leads, coordinates, and educates our Engineering team. In addition to engineering, Marvio meets with many of Datasmith’s clients when delivering IT plans, proposals, or just to check-in.
Prior to joining Datasmith, Marvio was part of the IT team for a major production house in Boston. He was instrumental in bringing in non linear/digital editing to fruition and setting up a render farm for their 3D animation group. He taught staff how to work with Adobe premier and 3D studio while leveraging the company’s new network setup which was envisioned and deployed by himself.
Marvio also acted as CIO for a local healthcare company where he designed and deployed a whole network infrastructure. He took a 5 employee, 1 physical server company to a 6 office, 450 employees, environment. He leveraged both cloud and datacenter infrastructures to achieve a 99.999% uptime, as the company could not afford any downtime at all per contractual agreement with their state.
Now acting as Director of Engineering at Datasmith, Marvio has become an integral part to the Datasmith team over the past 11 years. Marvio has stayed with Datasmith for so long because:
